highway

there is a highway winds through the town leaves and never returns it is the highway of life
we each are traveling on this road and some travel longer then others, but the highway remains
when we get on at birth, we then go from there to grave. It is ineviable the day will come that
we say so long to the sphere we inhabited. Did we leave it better then it was or worse?? I don't
know only you can say, did we brighten someones life, give a hand to a fellow traveller, did we
stop to enjoy ourselves or did we just push forward and worry about ourselves. Will anyone be
there to share what a great person you were and how the world will be less without you. I wonder
if people say that because you are gone or are we the person we should be and there will be real
tears there. Did I do anything for Jesus while traveling this earth??

road

the road is long
it is a hard thing
we are going somewhere
will we be there soon

be sure to be headed

destruction

today the snow fell
the earth was covered in white
it is bone chilling out
so cold it is not good

the earth is heaving its last
convolsions are all over
volcanos earthquakes
tidal waves and hurricanes

soon dust will return to dust
water will wash away dirt
soon the earth will be no more

will you be in the heavenlies

fun

you know you can have fun, the funniest times in my life was camping or just visiting with friends and sitting around a campfire. swimming in a clear stream or pool or river fishing
or hunting it does not cost much or anything. I also enjoy singing to old people at the old
folks home

newness

I could be great, I could be what God has planned for me and that would be the best I could be.
Help others, live to be at peace with all people, as much as possible. If you could see yourself as
God sees you and the possibilities you would be amazed.

FLEETING

The thing is time is meant for earth, we have so much till the end then ETERINTY Which we cannot imagine with the finite mind. Some die early, some late, but we have no way to know when we will be leaving this old earth. Be ready for forever this earthly existence is not the end.

emotion vs feeling

It is so amazing the people who walk away from God because, I don't feel him anymore, he is not
in my life like he once was. Let me say: you don't have to feel God, you breathe he created the air you breathe. He is in your life and if you don't feel it, it means you have moved not him. He is there for you. He is a friend who sticks closer then a brother. I know this sounds clique but, God
in your life has its highs and lows. I mean God when worshiping, you are thinking on nothing but,
God. Out in life we may say a quick prayer, but at home in our prayer time, are you thinking and listening to what he is saying to you?? Are you giving him praise and glory and undivided attention maybe you have to get up walk around raise your hands in the air and refocus more then once but, you need to do this to stay in touch.
Sometimes I wander to other places when my friends are talking, we are all like that, our attention span is not enough. This is sometimes the way with prayer. If you write your prayers and record the answers even if it is not now or no. The others have a way of showing you God.
Just keep him in your life, God will not walk out of yours.

help others

Can anyone get out of this life alive, do we leave any tracks?? Does people know we have been here do they care?? We only answer to God, and he says what we do for others is his answer,
are we nice, honest humble and do we personify this?? I myself wondr unconditional love,
for mankind, even the vile, vicous, and uncouth. What about sin, God hates it, but loves the
sinner, as if we can separate the two. It is possible because Jesus can separate the two he will
show love to one and that person will leave his old life and be compelled to follow Jesus.
this is long but, people ask what can we do?? help aids victims, put your talents to work
in half way houses, homeless shelters, read to children in hospital, go visit nursing homes.
BE SURE YOU ARE GROUNDED people who arn;t sometimes get caught up in sin without
realizing what they are doing.

love is very hard to explain but easy to do

Love is when you hold your child and know that never again will yur heart be the same and you feel a bit of yourself in your hands and you know without a shadow of a doubt that you would give your life to make the life in your hands live a little longer. I will never be able to touch others till they have this same experiince.

Walks as a warrior
fights for the innocent
oh if people were this way

new life

I accepted Jesus and what he done on the cross for me, in the 12 month of the year of 2008, now in 2009 I can live a new life. I have more power in me for change cause of Christ. The change don't have to be just internal, I will change external. Body is temple of the Lord so I should not pollute it with things bad for it. Jesus walked all the time, maybe I should follow that example as well. Jesus never spent a lot of money for anything, they just bought the neccecitys and helped the poor, maybe I should not think of what I don't have, but what I do. Number one is right to worship, this is great in this day and time. Food and shelter, I have also, may I thank him for the things I do have and not beg for what I don't have, don't God already know what I need and I say need, not want. I myself have been saved since 85 but just wanted to write this for a new beleiver.

rain

Oh why the rain, wet, cold shivering and the ground nothing but mud. If not for the rain there would be no rainbow, if not for the hard times in our lives, how could we tell the difference when
all trouble ceases for a while.
Trouble will always come to a man, as sparks fly upward Job says. We will have trials, and tribulation in this life, Jesus says. There is no help for it, there is death, ruin and disappoinment in this life but, we can overcome and have joy in the journey.
Jesus points us in the right direction. We live not by bread alone but, by the Word of God.
