struggle

The struggle is finally done
I have lost my life
To begin a new one

I see my Savior
He says to me
Well done, welcome to eternity

I had friends die
in places far away
I could not help
no matter how I tried

I seen my children rebell
Wisdom I did try to bestow
When they were older
they thought they knew better, yo know

I tried to be the man
my wife and God wanted me to be
But we all fail

Wanted to help the Navaho
to the desert, we did go
build a porch
patch a hole
whatever needed
it was cool

showing Jesus
with others did share
easier with the Indians
then other christians there

Made friends for life
always remember the times
remember the people
hope they seen Christ

We tryed hard
now we will go
someplace else
and share Jesus
