Where ar you, when I hurt,
Where are you in the pain.
Is there hope for me,

Why did I die,
Because I tried.

Did you ever speak back,
Yeah; a couple of times
To make fun of me.

I am gone now,
You say the right things.

Yet, when it might have mattered,
You were not there.

How can we proclaim Christ, an avoid his hurting child.
