1 Kings 13
A young prophet got a message
From God
Go to King Jeroboam
Land and prophesy against
The altar he is making
Don’t eat or drink
In that land
Return home a different way
(Probably protects young prophet
From contamination and different
Route protection from King)
Young prophet does what
He is told
Then old prophet fools
Him and gives
Him dinner (young
Prophet should have
Listened to God)
Young prophet gets
Killed by lion no pun
And I believe Old prophet
Return to serving God
God does things
For a reason
