Past mistakes

Things happen
for a reason
they say.
We don't know
why,
we just can't say.

Is there any
rythmn,
or reason here.
Do we just grin
and bear till
the end??

We who know
Jesus,

will in the future
be
Better off then this
old earth.

Yet for this
space and time.
I must use all
my strength
to survive.

I grieve
for our country,
for people lost,
For a war
that keeps
going on.

Where in this
life,
is their hope??
where else but
Jesus.

It sounds
cliche,
and it should
not.

I just don't
see the way
out of the
hole
our country
is in
