oh to write as others do
of things unknown
maybe not true

to tell a story
a tale to weave
perhaps to make sad
perhaps to grieve

to us words
to inflame hearts
to have such a repore
that people will do
as you say

to write a story
all men would read
not only read
but change the heart

this would be a feat
the founding fathers
found
the declaration of independence

even the constitution
wrote for all
serves all and is all
in all
states its purpose well

maybe if composition
was my game
i would be read
oh well i will be
who i am and no more
