nothing but sand
morning till noon
water was fine

Down on main street was a joint called ABC cafeteria hamburgers were 22 cents fries were 20 cents you could get 3 burgers and a fry for a buck. I made 1.50 cents a hour gas was 28 cents
a gallon and I worked there for a year. I gave my friends extra and family I worked the window
it was the year 1972 Vietnam was going on Nixon was still in the White House a loaf of bread was
10 cents and I was in high school. I could buy a 57 chevy for 200 dollars or a new chevy vega
remember them?? Oh them were the days.

The clown was funny
Trapeze was outstanding
Freak show was fun

Fell for the girl-monkey
She is really for me
cute and hairy
kinda scary

she was so neat
and really cool
swinging on a tire
and her chin with
lots of drool
