proverbs

8 The LORD detests the sacrifice of the wicked,

but the prayer of the upright pleases him
Don't come to the altar unrepentant, hoping for a blessing while you are still in sin. God knows the heart. Let your heart be guided by the Holy Spirit

manna

God provided manna for the Israelites in the wilderness to sustain them, it was the perfect food it was to help them to get through to the Promised Land. Jesus is the bread of life and he instructed the disciples to eat his body and drink his blood in rememberance of him. The bread and the wine to sustain them until the Holy Spirit came. He was to be a part of them, something they could see to represent his presince. The perfect food to keep the Israelites going and the perfect food to keep our spirits lifted till the day we see Jesus face to face.

remembering

It had been two days, friends had told me Jesus had been crucified. I could not believe that, why had they done it, my friends could not tell me the reason. They said he was on the middle cross of three upon the hill.
I went to the hill, I knew the body was gone, I just had to see the cross and try to remember him the way he was. I could not quite accept the fact till I seen the cross.
I seen the birds up flying around the place of the dead, as I got closer I could smell the smell of death. I smelled the blood and offal, things I smelled when they done the sacrifices at the temple.
There was blood on the cross and flies, there was blood where his head was and pieces of flesh, where his arms was there was blood and flesh and parts of fingernail. I seen where his feet had rested there was parts of his heels, as he pulled himself up to forgive his tormentors.
There were cracks in the earth, the people said were made as Jesus died.
I really wished Jesus was here now, he had healed me and made me free inside my spirit was now clean. He had seen me, and looked into my eyes and I knew he was like no body I had ever met before. I was in Jerusuleum because of him, I could not have come as a leper, that I was.
I went from that place burdened and sad, I could not hardly go on. It got worse as I talked to my friends. We were in love with the Rabbi, he had healed us and we had heard him speak and he moved our hearts.
I was on the road to Emmaus talking to my friend about Jesus, he is all we ever talked about it seemed, he was always on our mind. A stranger joined us, and our hearts was moved as he talked about the Lord. He made us think of Jesus and he explained the cross and what Jesus did there and our eyes were opened to understanding.
When he broke bread for us, He was the Lord JESUS WAS ALIVE AND HAD RISEN//
I told everyone he is alive forevermore//

forgiveness

In death, he was at peace.
Fighting with all,
Arguing about everything.
All his life a pain to others.

Yet, I felt such guilt,,
Why did I not try,
A letter to send.
A phone call make.

Just maybe, my apology made,
I could get some sleep.
Even if, we still never
see eye to eye.
I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN "SORRY"
a try.

When we
are angry and lash out,
We should go back, and give a
sorry, instead of pout.

funeral

He laid in state, all eyes looking upon the body of what use to be a great man. Many had known the speeches, he had made. He helped judge the nation's greatest trials, he left judgements that would be talked and argued over for years.
While in another city a poor man laid, a few people and some kin, gathered around. He had left a different place, a far off place. He had told many of Jesus and planted churches throughout the land. Many would welcome him home, that was touched by the life he lived. He had preached the gospel to many who practiced voodoo, they came out of the dark into the light. Jesus had given him
a gift and the Holy Spirit moved when he spoke. He prayed and helped to send the light into the darkest corners of the country he was in.
A great crowd was there when he arrived and Jesus said Well Done. He was now at peace and had run the race.
One man loved by man, one man loved by God, one humble and obedient. One man puffed up and important he did believe. Both brought to the grave.
WHO'S SHOES WOULD YOU WANT TO FILL??

WHEN TIME IS FOR YOU NO MORE

On the way to work,
Route taken every day,
Over a hill, driving fast,
Car ran him down,
His scream,
What he heard last.

Sitting in the study hall,
Thinking about basketball.
In came a man,
Gun in his hand.
That is the last he saw.

Skiing down the slope,
Picking up speed.
Sun in his eye,
Tree he did not see,
Let out a cry, then he did die.

Was they ready,
Did they want to wait.
There is always another day,
First we want to play.

Jesus is going to call,
Answer it now,
You may not get another
chance at all.

daniel

Things he did see,
from a far.
He knew they would happen,
Did not know when,
God showed him,
the future to be.
Daniel wrote it down,
for us to see,
Prophecy being seen today,
Watch all around,
How it will all come down.
We cannot stop
what God has planned,
He is God,
We are man.

All the thoughts of God,
are on his children,
The plans he has made,
will come about.
If you are a child or God,
You should shout,
HALLAWUAH
